Dr. Rosaria was very gentle & I was satisfied with her work. She needs to introduce herself on first appointment. It was a very very long wait the first 2 days. I did not like the fact that your dental plan included 6 crowns which my American dentist thought were fine & you wanted to redo them. The transportation is convenient, but I did not use it. You need more bedside manner with the patient.

I sent an e-mail today saying that I didn't receive my Mouth guard, asking that it be mailed to me. Also, my new front teeth crowns need to be ground down so that my molars can touch each pother in order to chew. I will need to have that done here at home because I can't wait 6 months to use my molars. Thank you, I'll be back in October.

The temporary crown that was placed in my mouth broke the next day. I was told it will take three days to fit a crown. (My wife had a crown replaced in only one day when she went here approximately 1.5 years ago.)The person who walked me to the treatment office (where my temporary crown was fitted) suggested he could provide me any drug I needed. When I asked if it was legal, he suggested I simply keep the drug in my pocket and it would not be a problem crossing the border. I elected not to acquire his services as I do not wish to spend any time in a Mexican prison. I hope things work out better when I return on Wednesday and again Thurs (I now need to spend the night and incur that cost). My jaw is still sore from the work that was done (5 days later). I am NOT happy with the program and the work that has been done so far.

First let me say Dr Guillermo is the BEST DENTIST I have ever had. He was gentle, seemed to really care, took his time. I also loved the staff and assistants Jesus and Albert ( don't know if you are supposed to tip the assistants ? ) Sani Dental was top notch for many things. Ok, but here's the bad part.... On my consultation with Javier I was NOT TOLD THEY offered EMAX crowns. I wanted veneers on my front teeth and he said my bite was too strong and that I must have crowns. I reluctantly agreed, he then only showed me 2 samples, 1 of a porcelain metal molar and another of a tooth that was zirconia. He said the metal would show eventually on my front teeth and reccomended the zirconia. I asked for more samples... He said that was all they had. I agreed to 6 zirconia front teeth and 7 porcelain metal molars. Along the way I needed 2 root canals apparently, ok I agreed. Then came time to pick the color of my crowns, I was asked if I wanted match my lower teeth that would not be crowned and I said no they were too yellow but I wanted as white as I could get away with. I was then shown ONLY 3 teeth shade samples- that's it. I. Didn't even know like 20 shades more existed! All 3 looked the same to me and I asked which he recommended and I agreed with it because I could see a difference in any of them. NOTHING, not one thing was ever explained to me about color tones, or shades etc. I did tell them I would be whitening my lower teeth. Long story short...... I took Valium to deal with my dentistry, I have major anxiety with dentistry and I when I signed my waiver saying I accepted my teeth I had taken the Valium and been in the dentist chair from 9:30 am to 5 pm. I said right off the bat my teeth were TOO WHITE ( crowns) and they said you can try laser whitening on your bottom. That cost me an extra $100. My teeth are DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT from top to bottom, it's ridiculous and I cannot understand how this refrigerator white was ever reccomended to me . There. Is NO WAY to ever whiten my bottom that much. I am very unhappy and ANGRY I was NOT given EMAX as an option. These crowns feel heavy, bulky and look unnatural to me. That night I went to the SANI website and saw they offered EMAX ! I went through the roof , I will be changing out these crowns for EMAX right away. I do NOT like these zirconia and they feel like a bad fit. My son is an Attorney in Palo Alto and is encouraging me to fight on some of these issues. The most Sani will do is 15% off my new Emax crowns. I have not decided if I will be going back to them or Simply Dental. I loved my dentist and I DO reccomended this clinic for many reasons, but I feel they are not doing right by me in this situation at all. I take part of the blame for sure, but I also STRONGLY feel they dropped the ball. It's not right I wasn't given Emax as an. Option to begin with and also show the WHOLE shade scale.

As a follow up to my other review, I have now received confirmation from Kathleen of Dental Departures that Felix did receive my x-rays and that he could open and view them fine. Once again it is rotten to go there with every intention of having a root canal and they did not even have the decency to offer to do a filling. I also heard of someone that they did not get their records. If records are truly not being received, your problem needs to be fixed and it needs to be communicated to the patient BEFORE they are at the clinic that the records were not received. Proper commnication could allow the patient to re-think the expense of travel and the time if the expected help is not going to be followed through with. If Felix represents Sani and had no questions about the tooth location, the dentist should have questioned Felix prior to my appointment if there was a doubt. I appreciated the ride to and from the airport and the hotel was nice with many friendly people to visit with. Of course where I did not have anything done at the clinic I have been asked to pay for my room. I told Ramon I believe that Sani did not do anything for me. I spoke to your customer care person and told her all that happened and gave her a credit card number to run for the room charge I believe it was last Thursday. Then she calls and leaves a message that management would like a check rather than the credit card. How do I know the card has not already been run and I would be double paying? I tried to call her back Saturday afternoon and was asked to call Monday morning. I did try to call and left a message for her to verify the mailing address and how postage works. No message or return call was received so I guess I will wait until she calls again rather than me adding to my phone bill playing phone tag.
