My wife Gail had a tumor removed from her lower jaw some time ago and has been without proper teeth for months. A full exam and x-rays and a discussion between us, the dental staff and staff oral surgeons led to the mutual decision to shave the affected jawbone into the appropriate shape followed by implants to provide viable teeth both top and bottom.
